On December 21, 2022, we ended the first half of semester one(1) on a much more positive note as Professor John Bright Kobla Aheto joined us to speak to the students and teaching staff of our institution.
Prof. Aheto has been in academia since 1971. He is a Professor, Trainer, and Consultant. He has taught in the USA (York College, Hunter College, Florida A&M University, Pace University, Brooklyn College) for 26 years.
On his return to Ghana in 1996, he taught at UGSB; WUCG; GIMPA; PUC; KNUST; CUC; MUCG; and KUC
He is an expert in SME and HR Development, Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning, Leadership, and Management, and a Consultant for ECOWAS.
In his submissions, he pointed out the need for the lecturers to be friends/families and go-to persons for students as many learners only may have them as icons in their lives.
He concluded by saying he can see the vision of the school clearly and wants to be part of the history we are creating and calls on students to give their best to their studies and set the foundation for excellence.
We are grateful he shared his nuggets of wisdom and experience with us and pledged to be a contributing stakeholder.
